About Us

Did you know that New Orleans is the home of nearly 200 movies and TV shows? With its unique charm and history, New Orleans has long been a movie making haven for Hollywood producers.

New Orleans Movie Tours®  is owned and operated by New Orleans local Jonathan Ray.

The idea for the tour started back in 2009 when Jonathan spent some time on the set of two locally filmed movies, (A Little Bit Of Heaven starring Kate Hudson, and The Mechanic starring Jason Statham).

“Watching the entire movie making process was such an experience, that I decided that I wanted to share it with everyone that visits New Orleans.” -Jonathan Ray

New Orleans Movie Tours® enables guests to see the city of New Orleans like never before.  Our goal is to provide guests with a fun, educational  and entertaining experience by bringing these movies to life.

"Movie fans love to know more about their favorite films and the actors who starred in them,"says Jonathan Ray, New Orleans Movie Tours® founder. "To see a location where your favorite movie was shot or a famous actor strolled is a huge thrill for movie fans."
